In fresh and frozen raspberries contain a substantial amount of folic, citric, salicylic, malic, formic, ascorbic acid, up to 36.8 mg in the leaves — 257,8 mg, moreover, found carotene, anthocyanins, glucose, fructose, sucrose, tannin, flavonoid, pectin, mucous membranes and proteins, mineral salts, pigments, B-vitamins, anti-sclerotic substance.

In medicine, use fresh or frozen raspberries as a febrifuge.

Fresh and frozen raspberries are used for filling pies, jams, in the confectionery industry, for cooking berry juice, syrup, fruit liqueurs.

Frozen raspberry preserves all the taste and beneficial properties of fresh raspberries.
